Sorry about your dad fella. Sure sounds like he was a hero - ‘now days they’d be talking about a permanent memorial.
Don’t apologise for venting at the pollies - cheats, liars and mongrels the lot of them.
Floods can’t be doing much for tourism, but might be an opportunity to get your cause heard on the idiot box.
all power and luck to ya.
Well done, and rather than say sorry about your dad, perhaps, i might just say, your dad was obviously a decent human being, and as such, will most likely be sadly missed.
At times like these,as hard as it is, i like to celebrate the acheivemnets of somebodys life- your dad, as you say, was an unsung hero. I dont remember who, or where i read said it, but somewhere, i learnt, it is selfish to grieve a loss, rather, celebrate the good things, the impacts.
People didn’t understand when my dad passed away. My mum and sister and i, were all outside laughing with tears in our eyes. WE WERE NOT LAUGHING AT HIS PASSING, rather, we were remembering the happy joyful, fun times he created with his family.

No need to say sorry big fella. Good place to let off steam and we know you’ll keep pluggin’ away.
Sorry to hear your sad news. Having just returned from a funeral in Sydney I can agree with shadow, remember the good times.
Good luck with u.a.e.
Sorry about your loss tours. Your dad certainly sounded true blue, you can remember him with pride. As for the pollies/bureacurats, well we’ve all probably ranted like a lunatic over their idiocy at some time so go for it.
Been away so long I hardly knew the plac. Caspar Gwenda.
