the king island storey

i was born at currie in the fiftys and grew up on chasing kangaroos hunting/fishing lived of the land the island is sum forty miles long and sum sixteen miles wide the island lays gaurding the western entrance of bass strait and as it lays noth south its wild coast line had its wrecks/seal hunters/and roages visit its shore line our family of 12 grew up on mums home cooked food  she made cakes /scones/biscutes/home made bread and we had ducks chooks sheep and cattle at our little farm and we even made butter cheese and lived of our chook eggs and also we did a lot of barter as we would catch a lot of fish and then go door to door bartering often comeing home with jam chutneys pumkins potatoes or a leg of pork we lived like that and todays king island is still caught up in the 18 centry style and things are slow and steady on the island there is every thing there bakers/butchers/shops/pubs/golfcourse/restaurants/its own wind power farms and the island has no foxes or rabbits and can be 35 min by plane from tulla or moorabbin has sum of the best beaches in the whole of australia as when you go to our beaches your the only one there i hope that the deal i do with budjet tour vans may give our tours the chance to take people down to this magic place on personal tours im  working on the cost and will post this soon so look out for the big fella tours australia personal tours of king island a three day adventure  we support the royal flying doctor month at big fella tours  cherioooooooooooooooo
