Brazil may make claims to all these wonderful things but at what prize?

I am sorry to disappoint you big fella but I’m afraid you have misinterpreted my nook banner. “Somewhere in Brazil” is where I hail from. “The best wines, the best meats” refers to my personal tastes. In my opinion the best wines come from cellars, not from vineyards. I know producers such as Wolf Blass like to promote the ‘drinkability’ of their wine but there is nothing to compare with something that has been decently aged.

Similarly, I do not consider beef as being one of the best meats but then my tastes are a little out of the ordinary. Some of my best meals have included what other people would consider offal, or to use the old fashioned term ‘lights’, but I assure you they can be very tasty. And with the right wines delicious.

So, though unable to pick up your gauntlet, I would be happy to sample your wares, so to speak. Naturally, I would expect you to reciprocate - some sauteed brains or seared kidneys perhaps.

    Bon appetit.
