lets put our best foot forward
Published 1 year ago in Making News.as i travel around this state i some times get very angry as to the prices some businesses charge.70 percent of my business is locals the other 30 percent is international but the big gripe is the prices its sad to know that when you talk to the owners they gripe that people are not spending money with them. i say get the sleep out of your eyes and take a look at what other tourism places are doining (asia) her things are cheap but they sell there products they dont have them sitting on the shelve gathering dust now i know we cant sell things that cheap but what i am saying is one of the biggest gripe i i get from my customers is price . so victoria dont think that when i visit you with a group that they are international tourists and they have lots of money think for all of us whom wish to visit you and especialy on the week ends thats when familys visit drop your prices to cater for all and sell your products dont let the dusk gather we are filming in the bass valley winery estate today and its raining those convicts will get wet today

Too true big fella, it’s offensive that people think tourists are fair game to fleece, especially when the items are cheap, nasty off shore imports.
Much better to treat the tourist with respect and sell things at a fair and resonable price and in all probability sell a lot more, than as you say, letting goods gather dust on the shelves because they are so over priced.
And wherever possible they should sell Australian made souveniers.
