today we were at caldermere dairy down on the bass hwy heading to phillip island this dairy has every thing home made from old fashion milk shakes to home made chutney jam cream ice cream and most famous for there scones now folks this place gets pretty packed and it has a kids farm animals section and you can even see the cows milked and then head on over to the house cafe for a great hot coffee and those home made scones we had strawberry jam toped with cream on them and im still drippling the staff are friendly and the farm is open to the public each day toilets are there for bulls and cows fun door plaques and the farm has a laid back style for you to get that early morning hit of coffee and its not expensive so if your down that way pop in with the kids you wont be disappionted our next show is at red hills on glass blowing save our whales the big fella tours
folks its not often i write in a sad way but we at our “the convicts over the fence”t.v. show has made a big push to save our whales im mad as hell that goverments allow the whales to be hunted and killed in this way i just wish they had some one to fight for them well its those pesky convicts so let those japs put up posters of those convicts for now at the end of all our films will be the words for all to here save a friend our whales what do the nook people think if we push for a ban what do you wish us to put forward as we will take notice of all posts to this appeal so its battle stations as the big fella and side kick ben rally to save our whales no matter what ??????
well folks we just had notice sent to us via the hilton hotel for our service to the three americans that whent on tour with the convicts in gippsland
we picked them up at the hilton hotel and i could see that these blokes were a little surprised as the convicts meet them in the hilton fourer but we soon had these guys at ese and boy did we give them a day out winerys were there asking and the big fella cooked up a king island meats b.b.q. and showed them our part of the world topping it of with the real live aussie animals up close in your face and yes folks i told them about the drop bears after a great day out its nice to read about your company in ather parts of the world via the hilton go convicts
well folks we have been down on king island for five days filming and the old island has not changed much pot holes from the last time i was there the cheese is still great the beef juicy and those crays well i wont dripple on the computer but pehaps many dont know that the island has no rabbits or foxes and has a yellow belly tiger snake thats rated in the top five deadlyest snakes in the world and its not uncommon to see a six foot snake but the island has a very large bird population as well as pheasants wild turkeys and peacocks
the island people are very friendly and get on well with one another and pitch in when theres a fire or some body needs help so this majic little place will stay hidden until the new ferry arrives then we hope that locals from here will go down spend three days there and spend some money on those precious goodys on the other front we are very busy at the moment so i will send regards to all
as i travel around this state i some times get very angry as to the prices some businesses charge.70 percent of my business is locals the other 30 percent is international but the big gripe is the prices its sad to know that when you talk to the owners they gripe that people are not spending money with them. i say get the sleep out of your eyes and take a look at what other tourism places are doining (asia) her things are cheap but they sell there products they dont have them sitting on the shelve gathering dust now i know we cant sell things that cheap but what i am saying is one of the biggest gripe i i get from my customers is price . so victoria dont think that when i visit you with a group that they are international tourists and they have lots of money think for all of us whom wish to visit you and especialy on the week ends thats when familys visit drop your prices to cater for all and sell your products dont let the dusk gather we are filming in the bass valley winery estate today and its raining those convicts will get wet today
fran baily the minister for tourism is the first to cop the rath of the big fella here i give her the royal dunce cap this minister spent
$153 million on a commercial with no results
and now on the front page of the sun today tourism business are winging that our dollars to hire what have they not heard of local people touring but here its sad most people that take day trips tell me that in all tourism places that our prices are to expensive and thats a fact lets compete and lower our prices so the locals will come and visit our places so here its the minister thats at the helm and yet she cant even send a letter out to the big fella so i say to her tooodloo for i think your on the way out and also she was never in touch with the big picture one down so its on for the next minister look out
